Your Gift Helps Share God’s Love
Every dollar matched up to $50,000 this November
Join us in a month of joyful generosity as our church and school come together to share the love of Jesus with more families.
Every gift — and every way you continue to give — makes a difference.
Why It Matters
Every Family has a story. This is one of them.
Meet the Batista family — a reminder of what happens when faith, learning, and community come together.
Through your generosity, families like theirs experience Christian education, spiritual growth, and a supportive community where children learn to follow Jesus every day.
Watch the story here:
Every gift matched up to $50,000 this November
A generous family has offered to match the first $50,000 given to our general ministry fund this month.
That means your gift — whether one-time or recurring — will help twice as many people experience God’s love through:
Faith-filled worship and outreach
Christian education that shapes hearts and minds
Youth and family ministry that strengthens faith at home
Together, we can reach our goal and continue growing ministry at Bloomington Living Hope.
Give Joyfully. Give Confidently.
Your giving makes ministry possible every day — from worship and classrooms to outreach in our community.
This month, your gift is matched up to $50,000.
You can also choose to make your gift recurring, helping sustain ministry all year long.

Other Ways to Give
Donor Advised Funds
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is like a charitable investment account, for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations and ministries you care about. When you contribute cash, securities or other assets to a donor-advised fund at a public charity, you are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can then be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity from your account. Popular sponsoring organizations that manage DAFs include: Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, and the WELS Foundation.
IRA gifts
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a tax-efficient way for individuals who are age 70 ½ or older to make gifts directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
QCDs can count towards satisfying an individual’s Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year, which is the minimum amount that an individual must withdraw from their IRA each year once they reach age 73.
Stocks, Securities, and Mutual Funds
Many people choose to give stocks, securities, or mutual funds instead of gifts of cash. Giving appreciated assets like these help you avoid paying capital gains taxes, and can give you an income tax deduction for the full value of the gift, if you’ve had the assets for more than one year.
Wills and Living Trusts
You can support ministry with a bequest from your estate at your death. Your will or living trust can direct the gift and you can choose a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. Let us know if BLH is part of your will by filling out a Letter of Direction – please contact the church office for the one-page form.
Beneficiary Designations
Gifts to ministry or donor advised funds can be made from your qualified retirement account (IRA, 401k, 403b) or life insurance policy through a beneficiary designation.
