Horizon High School Ministry

This is a group of students in grades 9-12 that meets weekly throughout the year to study God’s Word and to support each other.

Our teens serve in so many ministries at this church and in the community. It is a joy to walk with them through their teenage years! We are currently meeting Sunday nights at Living Hope, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

REACH Mission Trips

Students who attend a REACH Mission Trip join with about 300 other Christian teens to make an impact on a US community where poverty and unemployment rates are high. We spend the week making repairs to people’s homes. The teens grow friendships and create new ones through this exciting experience. Each day, there is time dedicated to large group spiritual growth and small group discussion time. We work hard, play hard, and we pray that God impacts the community through our efforts.

30 Hour Famine

The 30 Hour Famine is an international event where thousands of groups gather to raise money to help end world hunger. Students fasted for 30 hours to get a small taste of the kind of hunger that kids all over the word experience daily.

We hold service projects, play games, have Bible studies and discussions and watch videos to help us understand the effects of hunger in the world.

Teen Retreats

In Fall and Winter, We take a group of students to spend a weekend at Camp Phillip. We get outside, play great games, experience the ropes course, grow friendships, study Scripture, worship our Savior and have a blast.

It never fails to bring our students closer together as they connect on road trips and through shared experiences.
