On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, August 24th, five of our Kings-Isaiah Team families gathered on Harriet Island for a trip up the Mississippi followed by some of the best Italian ice cream offered in the Twin Cities. We truly enjoyed the gift of His day and the fellowship with friends.

Our team consists primarily of BLLH members living in the southern metro suburb
an area, including Apple Valley, Eagan, Lakeville and Rosemount. Our members include almost 40 family units and roughly 130 souls...a big "small" group and one, like most, that will never have all members participating in a single event at the same time. Our lives are busy and are stretched many different ways.
Recognizing this, our philosophy promoted by our coordinators (Pam, Joseph, Kathy and Paul) is to encourage our members to initiate their own small group activities, for example: a few members meet for coffee; enjoy a local sporting event; or possible meet for study of His word.
Like all teams, we have dedicated the first year of our existence to getting the word out, getting to know our members and introducing the program.
We have proudly taken our turn at providing Sunday service at both church locations and have found that to be an enjoyable experience that promotes friendship and unity among our team members and actually involves much less work than we initially envisioned.
One of our major success stories of this year was our potluck held at Bloomington Lutheran on a Sunday following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Our ladies have also recently met to share their experiences and work at their scrap book activities. A few snaps of this activity are provided below.
We look forward to seeing and hearing about the experiences of other teams on this site.
