Sunday Morning Bible Class
St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians is also God's love letter to us. In this congregational study for young and old, we'll take a closer look at some of the key articles of our faith that appear in the book of Ephesians, including predestination, the universal Church, and God's guidance of world events. We'll grow in our faith together as we spend time in His Word. This same class is offered on Wednesday evenings at Bloomington Lutheran Church (see below).
Wednesday Morning Bible Class
Our Wednesday Morning Bible class for adults is held at 10:00 a.m. at Bloomington Lutheran School focusing on The Book of Ruth. If you enjoy love stories, then this is the Bible Class for you. One of only two books of the Bible named after a woman, the Book of Ruth tells the story of a young widow and her widowed mother-in-law who must rely on a kinsman-redeemer. Although written some 3,000 years ago, the story of Ruth, Naomi and Boaz is a story of love and faithfulness. Through their lives, we see the greater drama of a loving and faithful God providing His people with a greater Kinsman-Redeemer. Ruth's descendant, our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this study you will learn about:
- the inclusion of the Gentiles in God's plan of salvation;
- the devotion to others God enables in us through faith;
- the hope we have through God's promises in His Word.
Everyone is welcome, join us any time!
